Dark Sour Aged in Cabernet Barrels
A deep ruby brown color, lingering wine tannins and soft oak notes from the barrel. A very balanced tartness intermingling with the flavors of chocolate & roast from the base malts. This beer marks day 1827. The number of days in the last 5 years. How long we've been doing what we love. This beer celebrates time, and how fast (and some days slow) it can go by. It's been a wild ride, but life's too short to not spend it doing what you love. Cheers to those who have been with us from the start, and all the new friends we've made along the way.
Biere de Avant Gardener
Biere de Garde
Grand Rounds collaboration - We figured life's getting hard in here so we'd do some Biere de Avant Gardening (together brewing a light ale that starts out a bit sweet and citrusy but finishes dry and slightly tart). Anything to take our minds away from where they're supposed to be.
Crazy Pils is an Imperial Pilsner so it has a higher ABV than normal pils. The base is close to a Bohemian Pilsner with a malty backbone as the result of incorporating a bit of Munich malt along with the Pilsen malt. The hops used are Liberty which are an American grown derivative of Halletauer Mittlefruh hops. It is also dry hopped for a little extra aroma. Enjoy!
Double Dry Hopped Inspiration
DDH American IPA
Our IPA is crafted from a combination of American and New Zealand hops, both in the kettle and in the fermenter, to provide an intense hop flavor and aroma to accompany a pleasant bitterness and strong malt backbone. This batch received an additional dry hopping of Citra, Mosaic and Summer.
Brewed as a SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop), our brewers used pale malt from North Dakota and Falconer's Flight, which is a blend by hop specialists in Yakima Valley that produces tropical, floral, lemon and grapefruit characteristics. Light body with a stiff bitterness.
American Wheat Ale
Brewed in collaboration with our "brew day" auction winner at A Chair Affair earlier this year (and named after his grand daughter), this beer takes the approachable style up a notch with Mandarina Bavaria hops and fresh sweet orange peel. LTS will donate $1/pint, howler, and growler sold to the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester
Kolsch is a bright, straw-yellow beer originating in Cologne, Germany. This style has mild hop character, being less bitter than a standard German pale lager. Brewed in the style of an ale, but cold-conditioned in the style of a lager, this clean, refreshing beer is a good starter for those newer to craft beer.
Karma Palmer Pack
Kolsch is a bright, straw-yellow beer. Very mild hop character Brewed in the style of an ale, but cold-conditioned in the style of a lager. this clean, refreshing beer is a good starter for those newer to craft beer. The pack includes one base Karma, one infused with Lemon, and one infused with green tea. Try them separate or take a shot at blending them together!
Belgian Golden Strong
Like the Femme Fatale it's named after, Phyllis is a beautiful but dangerous blonde. Following the philosophy that Belgians are best at their most simple, the malt bill is only Pilsner malt and sugar. Four additions of German Hallertau Blanc a wine-like fruitiness and plenty of Fatale bitterness.
Son of a Gum
Hazy Pale Ale
Ode to a beer that made us believe in what American hoppy beers could become, almost 15 years ago, made in honor of someone who was proud to be who he was, and invited all of us to do the same. Rest in peace, Barnaby. American wheat, intense Amarillo hop character.
