Position Summary: We are seeking individuals who are reliable, hard-working, flexible, and having a passion for the craft beer industry is a MUST. Candidates must be personable, reliable, and dedicated to excellent service. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, great at multitasking, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment while keeping up taproom appearance. Must be willing to lend a hand wherever needed and go above and beyond the expectations outlined below.
➢ Must be at least 21 years of age and have the ability to work around alcohol without abusing it
➢ Work on a schedule to meet the needs of the taproom including evenings, weekends, and holidays
➢ Legally serve beer while controlling intake of patrons and answering customer questions
➢ Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the beers and craft sodas on tap
➢ Provides a perfect pint for each beer poured, including proper pouring techniques, beer clean glassware and proper handling of glassware
➢ Execute all proper procedures for opening, closing and efficient operations at all times
➢ Draft system maintenance & troubleshooting: cleaning draft lines, changing kegs, etc.
➢ Keep taproom and surrounding environment extremely tidy and follow proper cleaning procedures
➢ Check all patrons identification and enforce alcohol consumption restrictions
➢ Assist customers in purchase decisions and maintain an accurate cash flow each day
➢ Promote and provide information on LTS Brewing Company events to customers
➢ Take the lead on all customer service questions, complaints, and initiatives
➢ Uphold the highest service standards and LTS Brewing Company values at all times
➢ Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to attendants to ensure operational excellence and to improve team member performance
➢ All other duties assigned by manager
Required Skills and Experience:
➢ Minimum High School or GED
➢ Leadership experience within the craft beer or similar service industry
➢ Strong organizational and multitasking skills under high volume, high urgency situations
➢ Detail-oriented and outstanding customer satisfaction focused
➢ Politeness, strong work ethic, punctuality, attentiveness, schedule flexibility, and desire to work hard
➢ Positive attitude and a team player in all aspects of the job
➢ LTS requires and assists you in obtaining the Certified Beer Server title (as part of the Cicerone training program) during your first 2 years.
