INFUSED: quick citrus

quick citrus: an infusion that starts with quick witted – our Belgian-style Witbier – for the base beer. We then added lemon, lime, and basil.
the result: Light, refreshing, peppery, and slightly sweet. The citrus fruits take over this beer and are oh so refreshing while the peppered flavor in the basil works with the Belgian yeast strain to prickle your tongue. Very subtle sweetness lingers on the finish from the basil.
What’s an infusion? We do infusions every Thursday – always starting with one of our regular beers, then adding different flavors using adjuncts like fresh fruit, spices & herbs, unique extracts, and more! Sometimes we mimic our favorite desserts, cocktails, barrel aging, fruit beers, or just experiment to see what you think of the end result! We’re not saying they’re for everyone…but if you find one that interests you be sure to get here right away because they don’t last long. We only make 5 gallons and serve it until it’s gone. Stop in for a sample, order a 5oz pour, or go for the full 12 ounces! The only restriction is we don’t sell howlers of them until Sunday – if there’s any left – and no growler sales of the infused.
